Born in Johannesburg in 1955, PETER LINDENBERG dreamed of being a race car driver, and his unrelenting determination has led him to celebrate a racing career spanning four spectacular decades – coming second was never an option.

Peter opened his own business selling powerboats. His passion for water skiing, powerboat and car racing saw him being awarded national colours on 39 occasions in three different sports and features in the South African Sports Hall of Fame.

Peter shifted his focus from racing powerboats to cars and serves as the backbone of Lindenberg Racing – currently the leading team in historic car racing in South Africa.

Flat Out and Fearless is Peter’s first book.
