BRONWYN WILLIAMS, co-author of Rescuing Our Republic, is a futurist, economist and business trends analyst who earns a living as a ‘court jester’ consulting to clients in public and private sectors across the world.

She is the co-author of The Future Starts Now, published by Bloomsbury UK, a columnist for leading business and technology publications and a well-known global keynote speaker and media commentator on future trends and economic trajectories.

She lives in Johannesburg (because she still actually likes the place) with her daughter, Michelle.

LUDWIG RAAL, co-author of Rescuing Our Republic, is an academic, charity entrepreneur, and the producer of Discourse ZA, a video and audio podcast that engages audiences in conversations on philosophy, economics, politics, and current affairs. He holds two Masters degrees (Logistics and Applied Ethics), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Stellenbosch.

In 2020, his passion for making a positive difference in the world led him to co-found the Credence Institute, an animal advocacy organisation committed to advancing the interests of animals in Africa. Additionally, he was selected to participate in the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation programme, a London-based boot camp that helps individuals launch high-impact, evidence-based charities.

Ludwig is driven to bring important but often overlooked ethical issues into the public domain, particularly concerning animal ethics, having had essays on this topic published in several magazines, including Business Day.

Ludwig currently resides in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch with his wife, Ridalise, and their cherished feline companion, Lisa.
